PLEASE DO NOT SEND ATTACHMENTS! Emailed submissions: I will probably do a copy and paste directly from your email. I use a text based email reader, so please do not use fancy formatting. Just type it in your email, put breaks where you wish them to be, and I will do the formatting in html.
Also, give me a short bio, one paragraph, if you wish, and include any links that might be relevent to your subject matter and helpful to readers.
I am not making a profit on this site or magazine and I am not able to pay for submissions. Copyright remains with the author of the submission to enable them to sell the piece to a paying market--though the new publisher should be aware of its appearance in Uppity Women.
We appreciate all submissions, suggestions, references to other resources, etc. We are also open to calendar and community organization listings, non-profits and other worthy organizations. Such listings are free.
