MENOPAUSAL TOURS Travel for women

Is estrogen holding you back? Not anymore! Menopausal Tours is a specialty travel company offering escorted tours to various U.S. destinations for women. Our next event, the "Hot Air and Tapas" Tour takes us to Albuquerque, New Mexico from October 6 to 11 for the 29th Annual International Balloon Fiesta! We'll power surge our way through the Fiesta, visit local attractions, and even grace Santa Fe with our mighty presence. AND for those not so faint of heart, participants can put their own hot flashes to work in a balloon ride over Albuquerque! Our pilot, Jerry Garcia, has years of high flying experience! Cost of this Tour begins at $550.00/pp plus air and optional balloon ride.

The "Julep" (or "Where did I leave the mint?") Tour takes place March 23 to 29, 2001 with destinations in Savannah, Georgia and Charleston, South Carolina. Even though the main attraction of this event is the Tour of Homes and Gardens, nesting is neither expected nor encouraged. In fact, we're just grateful we don't have to clean 'em! And no visit to Savannah is complete without a midnight visit to the Bonaventure Cemetery! Accommodations in both destinations are historic hotels, complete with high tea and a piano bar. This is a fabulous tour and gives us all a chance to connect with our inner belle!! This tour has not yet been priced.

The ever popular "Wwhhhiinnnee" Tour takes us to Napa and Calistoga for fabulous wine and mud wallowing - could it get any better??? Are we relaxed enough to make this a mother/daughter tour? Only if they behave and leave the whining to us! This Tour is not yet priced, but start your pedicures now for some excellent stomping adventures!

We also offer excursions for the wild woman in all of us! Our "Rust and Dust" Tour in mid-July 2001 whisks us off to Seattle for a couple of days, then to the San Juan Islands, and then kayaking to a small island for 3 to 4 days of luxury camping. You got it, someone else builds the evening fire, cooks the fabulous gourmet food, and even mixes our evening libations (don't forget the mint for that julep, dahling...)! The San Juan Islands have one of the longest and most dynamic whale watching seasons in the U.S. and we never miss any opportunity to observe wild things bigger than us!
